One of my favorite things to do when out shooting photography is to create giant-sized panorama shots. With today’s digital cameras shooting massive sizes of resolution, a 6-photo panorama can easily become a 4 foot tall by 16 feet wide photo. I’ve built up quite a collection of them! But, so far, anyway, have only printed a few.
Not long ago I was reading some or another nerdy photo tech article and came across the idea of turning high quality panoramas into a moving video. I was already stoked about the idea from using the Instapan app with my Iphone. So I’ve gotten pretty excited while perfecting the process it takes to turn a ultra-wide panorama into a video presentation.
For instance: If you were a business in San Diego, you could use this video above with your own message(s) on it in your social networks. It’s sized perfectly for Instagram and it is dominant on a Facebook newsfeed. We license it to you for one time or unlimited use and it comes either without messages for you to add yourself or with a variety of message packages I can work up based on your needs.
The reason why this works so well is that they move quickly, are different from most everything else and can contain a simple message to develop brand awareness, specials, new services, events.
If you were selling Tours to Cuba, do you think this might help convey your message?
As the saying goes in the world of marketing, but that’s not all! Do you own a brewery, restaurant, gathering place, garden center, cool office digs? How about an immersive 360 video of your place? We are totally up for it if you are. There’s only one way to find out if it can work for your business! What if it does? It could be one of those things that give you the edge over your competition in the long run…
The bottom line in all of this is having fun with some affordable new media plays to help you build your business. Give me a couple weeks and I will be opening up a stock Instagram video library of all the places where I have panoramas here in San Diego and from around the world!
