Cinemagraphs combine two of my favorite mediums; photography and cinematography, into one presentation. The method has been taking the content world by storm recently as a darling of the digital world. For good reason. It was created by two photographers in 2011 who broke it into the fashion industry where people literally freaked out over what they saw. I caught wind of it about a year ago and have been perfecting my way of doing it ever since. See the growing collection of my cinemagraph work in San Diego and beyond!
Now, I’m ready to share it with everybody. Cinemagraphs are just quirky enough to stop people mid-scroll in this hurry up world to examine what it is they are looking at. It happens because what their eye sees does not completely compute in their brains. Something is strange and compelling. I love that and feel it lends itself to any sort of content marketing message or story you are trying to tell.
In short: It is a small business killer app! Why? Because I can produce it for about the same cost as a regular video which means any business can afford to look like a million bucks! What’s more, when we come to you for a session, we can shoot a group of stills, a time-lapse film, some video clips and now some cinemagraphs all at the same time. I use the same equipment to do all of this. So, it just makes sense to get a variety of imagery accomplished at one time. It is very cost effective and allows me to work very efficiently.
I really can’t think of a single type of business that would not benefit from the use of a cinemagraph for your digital marketing strategy. You get unlimited usage rights to all of the imagery we shoot for you and I’ll even help you with the creation of a plan if you don’t know where to start! It then becomes part of your web site, emails, and social media outreach delivering impactful branding impressions over and over again.
In a 100 mile radius of San Diego, this is something I can get done in a day for you and deliver all of the various digital imagery we agree on in short turn around time. If you have never thought about getting this type of work done before because you thought you couldn’t afford it, we should talk. If you are outside of that 100 mile range it will take a bit more planning and cost to get this same service as everybody in San Diego gets but I love to travel and will work hard to find another business or two in your region of the world so that the cost of getting me there can be shared!
